Rear Passenger Door Wont Lock

I took the doorcard off this morning and wd40 d the locking mechanism but it still doesn t want to work. Here is what i found with my v6 2004 right rear door. I have pulled the door card off and checked the cable from the button to the lock and lubricated it but it seems to move freely.

Rear passenger door wont lock.
