Red Door Lock Ge Flashing

I attempted to use the self clean feature and hit the appropriate touch screen keys.

Fix the error yourself without calling a repair technician. After a recent wash closed door and now a red light is blinking saying door locked i do not know how to open this door which is frozen shut. Can t use self clean anymore. Someone not familiar with my front loading ge washing machine tried to turn it on pressing god knows what.

Slide the latch to lock the door. This is the correct procedure. The door should unlock and there should not be a need for service. Pull lock mechanism to your left with wrench.

My ge front loading washing machine has a red lock light flashing. For service please schedule an appointment with ge appliances factory service. Pull to your left until it becomes loose and noticeably broken. Door lock now broken.
