Use the trim panel tool or flathead screwdriver to pry off the small trim panel surrounding the interior door handle.

Once the trim panel is unclipped pull the handle towards you to slide the panel around it. To do this you slide the cover away. Lift the door panel up and off of the door. Remove screw out of bottom of door panel located at the rear of the carpeted kick plate. Depending on what style of door panel it is there are at least two on the ranger that i know of there will be between 3 to 4 screws.
