Removing tiles is a job that you can.

To remove wall tiles start by heating up the grout between the tiles with a blow dryer so it s easier to remove.
Cut through the drywall along the edge of the tiles with a utility knife.
Then use a utility knife or rotary grinder to scrape away the grout until the spacer lugs between the tiles are visible.

Work the putty knife or plaster spatula in and out behind the tile in a cutting like motion around each side of the tile to loosen it from the wall.
Cut along the edge of the wall studs if.
The tile should pop away from the wall.
Place a pry bar against this line and lever away large sections of the wall.
Step 4 pry the tile away from the wall gently using the putty knife or plaster spatula.
Pry the piece of tile up gently and slowly until it separates from the wall with ease.

I sadly made this same mistake redoing my bathroom and had to spend an all nighter removing old drywall and putting up cement backer board.
If you don t find a loose one no problem you ll have to break one.
If you do find a loose one prize it out with the chisel.
Our shower room needs revamping.
Chip away the rounded bullnose tiles from the edge and top of a shower with a hammer and chisel.
Next use a chisel and hammer to pry the tiles off of the wall.
This should shatter the tile and you ll then be able to remove the individual pieces.
Stick the chisel in the centre of one tile and hit it with the hammer.
The only way the old tile was coming out of my bathroom was with a sledge hammer.
