Removing upvc door panel.
Looking at the panel to be removed you will see a moulded bead that holds the panel in note how the bead is sitting flush in the door these are on the edges all round the panel.
With the door in a 90 degree opened angle you should use something to lever the door up approx 50mm this will lift it from the hinge pin.
When removing a cat flap and replacing the existing upvc door panels rest assure we will only use top quality upvc door panels.
Typically the panel will be held in with detachable beads.
Using a flat edge i use a clean paint scraper insert the scraper into the outside edge of the bead where it touches the door frame a gap should appear and the blade will seem to go into the door.
Removing your panel from the door the best way to measure is to take your existing panel out of the door.
The removal of existing cat flap and installation of new upvc door panels can be supplied and fitted in one trip.
This will usually be on the inside of the house.
Measure the width.
Pop all four beads out and remove the panel.
We carry stock of the different size panels and thicknesses.
