If you ve just installed a ring video doorbell pro and now there s a blue led blinking and a slowly filling in the circle on the front of the ring video doorbell pro the blue circle you see on the front of your ring pro is a charging meter.
Once the power cell is fully charged the white circle will turn off and you can resume setting up your device.
You cannot complete setup until the charging process is done.

If the pro is showing a charging indicator this could mean the power being supplied is not sufficient for consistent power or there may be some resistance in wiring due to thinness or corrosion.
Remove the security screws on the base of the doorbell and lift the doorbell up and away from the mounting bracket.
According to the ring website the circle is a charging meter.
Once the internal power cell is fully charged the blue circle will turn off and the device will move into setup mode.
If the app is not updating the battery level try triggering an event motion ring as this might help to update the battery status.
